Conservatives holding conservative principles would never have spent their way through record surpluses. And the fact that Bush (et al) did, is proof that he/they are not conservatives. They are progressives! What we need is a global return to conservative economic principles of saving, reduced government spending, reduced bureaucracy and a more open affair environment where the private sector can thrive again. Then and only then will we see this recession turn around and prosperity return.

  • aewilliamsllc says:

The problem with your line of reasoning is that NON of persons of whom you speak (Bush included) are conservatives. They are all progressives dressed up to look like conservatives.

  • Onomasticator says:

The problem conservatives have is their enthusiastic support for a war that cost the US alone (never mind Britain) over $3 trillion, all in (estimate by Joseph Stiglitz) – this in the wake of record surpluses under a Bush White House. This, after for years being lectured by the aptly about the virtues of a Balanced Budget amendment and fiscal discipline. You’re kidding yourselves if the aptly claims to have a magic bullet.

Cameron may not be the pledge but we know Brown most certainly is not. Not a fantastic choice but Brown MUST GO.He is a absolutely useless sack of shit !. 5 more years of Brown is just unthinkable.

  • mitchking2006 says:

And we have Cameron as the next PM? God help us! Not that Brown is any excellent, not that Cameron won’t be better but – if he’s the best, then God help the UK!

  • tuberantz says:

Daniel Hannen is a Master Courier but asinine ancient Brown was just his usual thick self…smiling as the critique glided off his fine hair. Did he hear…Yes. Does he care…No.
Every country needs a Daniel Hannen. Too many politicians are as thick as 3 planks and don’t really know it.

Brown sought after Blair’s position but has never been able to maintain it on merit. What was this idiocy of selling Britain’s gold reserves at bargain bin prices?

Public sector employment in the UK is reaching Soviet proportions. Where is the money appearance from? – increased borrowing and taxation that’s where.

I am so thoroughly disillusioned with this financially irresponsible idiot. “Iron Chancellor” my arse.

I must agree. I nearly died laughing when that US polotician was given all that grief for shouting “You Lie!” at Obama. In the house of commons it feels like a fight is on the verge of breaking out every day.

That’s a hardcore drubbing. Gordon is a sociopath, that humiliation didn’t even touch the sides. All our leaders have been psychopathic, it makes you wonder.

  • barquedust says:

It would be wonderful if there were more moving, intelligent and factual statements like this made in our U.S. congress and by our representatives! This was sound to the point and effective. Well done.

The Barnes Review Magazine – “BRITS PLANNED GENOCIDE OF IRISH—in 1972!” – “For Centuries The British have tried to suppress and exterminate their neighbors the Irish. But thats all ancient history, isnt it? Unfortunately, no. A secret document outlines a bold plot by the British government to commit what can only be described, in international legal context, as genocide against the Catholic population of the British mini-statelet of Northern Ireland, made in 1921.”
    POLICE STATE BRITAIN!

  • atomicplayboy4u says:

@ 2 :56 Do you notice the same perverted look on their faces ??? All on LOSER drugs !!!!!!! Mind you so called legal meds !!!!!!!! These perverted pigs need to be removed by all means before we are murdered by the ass backward muslims or the dog commies !!!! WAKE UP !!!!!!!!!

  • PatrickCullinane says:

G20 – Mr Tomlinson’s son Paul said: “First we were told that there had been no contact with the police, then we were told that he died of a heart attack.
“Now we know that he was violently assaulted by a police officer and died from internal bleeding.

“As time goes on, we hope that the full truth about how? Ian died will be made known.”

The IPCC is also looking into the case of an animal rights activist, Nicola Fisher, who was filmed being slapped across the face and hit with a wand.

  • PatrickCullinane says:

The Guardian, Wednesday 15 April 2009

“Plainclothes police? with batons at G20 protests. Plainclothes officers, one with his wand pinched, are seen mingling with uniformed riot police in the City of London on 2 April”

You heard it here first: – Plain clothes police THUGS in the crowd causing distress & blaming it on the peaceful protesters. Where is the BBC’s Video footage of all these THUGS?
The Guardian newspaper is left to take on and expose Police State Britain on its own, as usual.

I aswell as others appreciate any man who does not sugarcoat the situation we are in, all we question for is honesty and not political point scoring.
Mr Hannan for prime minister, afterall no man who speaks the truth and acts for his country and its best interests can be anywhere near as terrible as the absolute merry go round of lies we percieve as goverment at the moment.
Gordon you should not be smiling at this man, you should be listening to him.
