stockmaste1982, I like you! My best friend is really a very committed Bah’ai (a religion that worships the one God; my favorite as far as monotheists go). If more Christians/Muslims carried their faith with dignity like you, I’d have no issues. But sadly, I now have to content with persons who want to ruin the scientific institution and bring us back to the dark ages of superstition replacing knowledge. Guys like Hovind have already persuaded millions that a dozen scientific fields are incorrect.

There was no other way to give reasons for it, so the summoning of a deity must have been aptly, aptly? Apparently not.
And now creationists say “How could something have come from nothing? We can’t give reasons for that scientifically [(really we can)], so that proves God did it!”
The total hypothesis of God, Creation, Intelligent Design; none of it holds ANY evidence, just arguments of “here’s something knowledge can’t yet give reasons for. Therefor an intelligent deity did it”. No description of HOW God’s powers work, HOW God could exist in the first place, or WHY God – the most incredibly complex entity in existence; the human brain X 10 billion – would be the defaulting form of existence – a CONSCIOUS one at that – and yet the life is too complex to exist from natural processes.
2. They oppose gay wedding ceremony and point to where the Bible says “Thou shalt not lay with a man as thou layeth with a female” – but then really ignore the part just 4 paragraphs down where it says you should stone your child to death if he’s disrespectful and you can’t get him/her under control. Why aren’t evangelicals campaigning for the aptly to murder unruly children? The Bible is such a perfect document, is it not?
