I reckon the food was just a symbol for the money.
While it’s right America doesn’t feed the full African continent, it’s simply not right that African nations grow enough food to adequately feed all of their people. Have you heard of the World Food Program?
Africa *could* grow enough to feed their people, and much of the rest of the world too… but conflicts, corruption and destitute poverty remain as obstacles to reaching that point.

America does not feed and cannot feed african nations…which are made up of more than 800 million people. if they can’t even feed haiti how are they going to feed a total continent?
African grows its own food which is more than enough to feed its own people.
