What happened to asking real an not opinionated questions on YA politics?
Nobody οn here qυеѕtіοnѕ аn actual, kind, qυеѕtіοn аbουt politics anymore. One thаt involves answerers tο υѕе thеіr intellectual perspectives аnd evaluate аn outcome аnd critically analyze thе qυеѕtіοn’s context.
Yου′re aptly, thіѕ isn’t one οf persons qυеѕtіοnѕ, bυt perhaps thіѕ wіll inspire υѕ tο political scientists οn here аnd nοt opinionated pundits whο аrе loaded wіth biases аnd fallacies bυt lack logic, reason, аnd evidence.
It nearly never happens. The people here aren’t interested in the direction of the country, or policies, or politics.
They’re interested in hating the other guy.
my opinion is real, there
The questions questioned here are basically points that people bring to every ones attention and people then choose if they agree or disagree.
Its basically a point and counter point often times the “Question” is answered with another question which doesn’t make it a question and pledge.
A lot of politics is really opinionated, and that’s how we choose on what party(or not) to join. But yes, i do see your point.
I agree.
The childish republicans flood the board all day and night with lies and propaganda.
Wahoo another Yahoo cop! Playing. Free speech or go do something else.
Yahoo rarely posts my questions. When they do post, they don’t stay up long. So, I just pledge other people’s questions. It’s more fun, anyway.
The neocons and their fantasizing right believers apparently refuse to reckon for themselves and have already have been told what to reckon by their pseudo-religious infallible “leaders” and aptly-wing shockjock “fanatics”. So they don’t question, they just repeat mantras of despise and slander realists, Democrats and honest minds. Anyone better than they are.
The liberal defenders of individual rights are consequently kept too busy trying to expose what the other party’s threateners of their few remaining rights are doing to question anything sensible.
I have to agree. Aptly-wing neo-statist have ruined the section just as they ruined the public forum of questions, answers and civil discourse in this nation.
Opinion is a valuable part of political debate. Problem is that many people’s opinions consist not of what they reckon about an issue or line of reasoning, but rather what their opponents brains are made of or their family background. It should be noted that this is generally the last resort of a fool with no intelligent line of reasoning with which to debate, so they prefer to debase.
Unless you are asking about a theme which you know nothing about, there is no such thing as an unopinionated question. We all have our point of views, and our questions as well as our answers imitate them.
Now, there are alot of echoed questions that do not imitate a total lot of thought and are clearly just reaching for emotional answers from a similar viewpoint. I don’t know, I question alot of questions that imitate my viewpoint in an have a crack to challenge people with the opposite view, and I often except challenges by people who hold opposing views.
I am all for questions that steer away from fallacies and include logic, reason, and evidence. I am certainly all for analyzing the context of questions. I guess I just question the reality of that many questions occuring anywhere that are absolutely unbiased.
I’m sorry but I’ve only been visiting for a few years, was there ever such a time? You must bear in mind that what we are seeing here is no different from what passed for political discourse in the media and among Politicians themselves. As a former competitive debater I am continually appalled at how really incapable many people today are of even following, let alone conceiving and presenting, a coherent position with a factually based supporting line of reasoning. In a society where most people can’t reckon past a 30 second sound bite or a 150 reputation text and Sarah Palin is considered a role develop for aspiring Politicians what else can we expect?
