    Ramen, Lewis, Ramen!!

  • Nate2203 says:

Lewis, the problem is that there are millions and millions that do. Should they? No, but god=votes.

  • TrooperRaven says:

Are you saying that you believe that this, “bitter God of the Bible” you rail against really exists?

  • TrooperRaven says:

Thank you for pointing out that I am a right American. I appreciate the compliment. As for excrement on doorsteps, that may be your perception of America’s foreign policy, but it isn’t mine. But, as you said, I am a right American, and as such have no interest in an outsider’s opinion of my country. Never have, never will.

You may want to stick with matters related to the U.K. The Falklands come to mind.

  • TrooperRaven says:

My mistake, I forgot the type of audience I’m dealing with. I see you failed to grasp the meaning behind my question for for more specificity.

Let’s try this again. To which god precisely are you referring?

  • acexxxking says:

    lol I told him where

  • acexxxking says:

In the ass with no lube

  • jynx114 says:

  • badnewsBH says:

@acexxxking I reckon TrooperRaven wants you to pick an orifice, ace. :P

  • TrooperRaven says:

What you are saying is that you reckon there is no place in government for God. Of course, you are entitled to your opinion.

  • 686204 says:

Religion (any kind) has no place in Politics whether you believe in it or not. God takes no sides on issues pertaining to governments or people that is why he gave man free will and that is why Jesus supposedly died for our sins. You are supposedly answerable to god when you go to meet your maker. People who believe god will help them or Governments while they are on earth should go back and study there religion.

  • noneabve says:

i reckon he’s brilliant and really assess in all he’s done…….!!!!
George Carlin is dead but let’s here more from Lewis Black!!!!!

  • MasakanSolaris says:

maybe we should place you in that locked room he was talking about.

  • MisterSymo1 says:

I wish more people thought like this guy!

  • TrooperRaven says:

    You couldn’t be more mistaken.

  • joeobo1 says:

@TrooperRaven well, like Lewis here, I’m an athiest, so I don’t reckon a god made me. My parents did by fucking.

  • TrooperRaven says:

Of course I know that Lewis Black is trying to be amusing, it doesn’t do anything for me, but I get it.

A man can deny anything he desires, but denying a thing doesn’t make it so. There are plenty of things to poke fun at, and God isn’t fazed by Man’s fist shaking, but it is a perilous and foolish thing to disregard our designer. God made you and God made me. This undeniable truth is etched in our hearts like a sculptor’s signature on his work.

  • TrooperRaven says:

On the contrary. Take time to read the biographies of most of the signers of The Declaration of Independence and you will find that most, even if not all, professed a faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This is the “designer” that is spoken of in the second sentence.

“Nature’s God” is most certainly the Judeo Christian God, Yahweh.

The debate about separation of church and state is a moderately new one (just the last 50 years or so) and would have dumbfounded the founders.

  • DisturbedHavok says:

I stand corrected. I forgot about the part about “Nature’s God”. It isn’t referring to the Christian God though as most Christians believe but… at least not directly. Nature’s God could be the god of any religion.

  • TrooperRaven says:

    Be more specific.

  • TrooperRaven says:

“Our Founding Fathers kept God out of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence…”

You are assess in saying that there is no mention of God in the U.S. Constitution. But, you should try conception The Declaration of Independence. In it, you will find what you have denied exists.

  • DisturbedHavok says:

Really? So God made the Earth in 6 days (yeah, I remember the Sabbath), but a Democratic Republic was so hard that it took him thousands of years?

Our Founding Fathers kept God out of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and I reckon Lewis’s point is that a person’s religion should have nothing to do with their qualifications for holding a political office.

  • acexxxking says:

    Fuck god

  • kansaimagic says:

Speaking of the bitter God of the bible check out the song we wrote. 1 GOD MORE KANSAIMAGIC

type that into the search and there you have it!

  • joeobo1 says:

@TrooperRaven I’m just saying comments should be about the video and nothing else. But having said that, I regret posting this because what I’m posting has nothing to do with the video. I’m just writing my opinion and taking up interval on a web page like you and everyone else who only posts their personal beliefs. And second of all, so what if he wants to deny God’s influence of our government? He’s trying to make money at being amusing. That’s his job as a comedian.
