  • Hi, my name is Stacie says:

I don’t know anything really. I don’t see the point in arguing for a long time with someone who obv. isn’t going to change their views

  • Solar TJ says:

c-span, cnn, fox news. Watch theses shows. As well as just using vocab terms like look up republican party on wikipedia.

I feel the same way. I know nothing about politics, but I’m hoping to take a course in gov. next year.. that will probably give reasons for some things to me.

read newspapers day after day. i am much interested in conception newspapers . i reckon i have enough knowledge about politics.

  • Kevin says:

Basically, watch the news. That’s the simplest way. You could also read some news articles about politics online. But make sure you watch a collection of different news channels because they are each biased in some way. It’s excellent to be unbiased, you want be have a full, well minded knowledge of politics, not just a single sided, close minded view.

haha glad to know I’m not alone

    Rule one…

its not about political parties but what people want to do in power.

Ie who cares about a suit if they are boning hookers etc… worry about if they want to fix polution, say stop young adulthood getting arrested for sexting and you learn more on political demos then party politics

Ie save the wales demos, equal rights for gays marches, is somone looking to crack down on gangs or push through dutch sex ed policies and crush the influence of relgion

Like everyone else has said, watching the news and conception the newspaper are probably the two best things to do. Or you could look up controversial subjects having to do with politics online. There might be some excellent books you can find in a library to read as well. Again, like everyone else has said, check lots of different sources so you can keep an open mind…it’s so sad when others are so close-minded that whatever anyone else says just goes through one ear and out the other.

well read magazines that talk about political issues, such as time magazine. watch CNN, and othe news channels, because if you watch long enough, they break down the situation. research on the internet as well. like if you want to learn more about the health care bill, i reckon there’s a website that should list what the bill will do, how it affects people, etc. pay attention in history class as well, since they teach us the basis of the type of government we have today, and also discuss current political events as well. newspapers give lots of info too. hope i helped =]

    -politifact.com is your friend. :)
-news.google.com and go to US. most of it political news.
-the drudge report is a conservative news site, if youre into that
-the huffington post is a more liberal news site, if you want that
-search on youtube for political channels. youll be able to tell if they’re liberal or conservative, and choose which ones you want to watch. my favorite is theyoungturks.

ignore Solar TJ and Pastor Art, DO NOT WATCH FOX NEWS, its all propaganda crap! they lie CONSTANTLY.

  • Pastor Art (((SFECU))) says:

Go to the Library and read the book aristocratic, “Original Intent” by David Barton.

    Watch Fox News.

Conservatives in religion and politics want to stay on the policy as written down.

For Christians, they want to stay on the Bible as it was written.

For Americans, they want the country to stay on the Constitution, as it was written.

Have you ever read the Constitution? Most high school students with average conception spead can read the US Constitution in one sitting, one conception, in less than an hour.

Liberals want to make new meanings for the ancient terms of the Bible and the US Constitution.

As a general rule, Republicans are Conservative and Demoncrats are Liberals.

Conservatives are called the “Aptly” and Liberals are called from the “Left” because in the US House and the US Senate, Liberals or Democrats sit on the left side of the chamber when facing the Rostrum and Conservatives or Republicans sit on the aptly side.

Persons who are called “Centrists” are persons whose views are in the middle.

In addition, read ancient history books, books written prior to 1925 usually report history honestly accurately.

NBC News and CNN give you the news which is slanted far to the Left.

In other terms they try to discuss liberal thoughts in a positive light and they described conservatives, in a negagive light.

Fox News is what they claim: Honest and Balanced.

Most US History books written recently are written by Historians whose politics are far left.

  • Sucks for You says:

    read the new york times!!

  • beatle says:

What kind of news do you watch? I would research into political parties and reforms. Talk to your parents about politics, they probably know about things like the health care reform and whether or not they like our current head, question them to give reasons for material to you and question for their opinion! Also, try conception newspapers like the New York Times or The Guardian. Initiation watching the news everyday, then you will get the jist of what is happening. : )

ALSO: make sure you watch un-biased news channels, you gotta make up your own mind

  • Clara says:

Read Newsweek and Time magazine, and look online. Watch the movies.

  • Jane* says:

DO NOT WATCH THE NEWS. ANY news on TV

    Fox News
    MSNBC
    CNN

Unfortunately in America we have crappy news channels and most of them are biased by a certain slant and fall into the pit of sensationalism. In other terms they just report crap to get listeners. But if you want real unbiased news on politics, take note to National Public Radio, BBC Radio or BBC news or the CBC. The best way to get unbiased news is to take note to the international perspective of an issue!
