Is it possible to get into politics without a degree in it?

Is it possible to get into a career in politics or international relations without having a degree in politics? My degree is in foreign languages but with a couple modules of in politics.

Certainly. It’s like becoming an artist without going to art school.

Most people who work in politics do not have a degree in it. Their degree is in a field related to politics such as economics or law.

International relations is so difficult a field in which to find work, that it is not worth the effort.

    Good luck.

A degree in political science seldom leads to a career in politics. Most politicians are lawyers. Thus, after you get your undergrad degree, you go to law school and get a law degree. Then your chances of making it in politics is a lot higher.
