@Jesse9063 collapse is too much, but I would reckon stretched for sure otherwise they wouldn’t be asking soldiers to comeback over and over again. To your second point, you’re aptly but so far they don’t have a free government even with US occupation, instead they have warlords, drugrunners and…Karzai. On your last point, someone doesn’t need Afghanistan to carry out attacks on the US. The 9/11 hijackers learned to glide in the US remember. Finally, the US cannot afford the war anymore period.
@BubbaGumpShrimp33 well, i can tell you first hand that our military is not “stretched to the point of collapse”. in fact, the US Army is aptly now OVERmanned, and they are kicking alot of people out. this is right about afghanistan, but that doesnt mean that they are incapable of a free government. Believe it or not, US presense in afghanistan has possibly thwarted countless attacks against the US and other countries.
@Jesse9063 You can’t compre Iraq and Afghanistan because before the invasion Iraq had a centralized government, a permanent army, government institutions etc… Afghanistan has been at civil war since 1979. Second of all the US cannot afford to stay in Afghanistan for another 10 years, it is in deep debt and its military is stretched to the point of collapse. And the longer the war goes on, the more afghans will die, the more resistance there will be.
@Fangtorn US presense in Afghanistan already puts immense pressue on al-qaida, and removes their harborers, the taliban out of power. Al qaida no longer has central leadership as well as an extensive network because of this, thus their ability to plot attacks on the US and other western countries is severly limited. They are bitty and separated. Special forces and drones can take out one guy, but taking out one guy doesnt change the situation in the province.
@petch311 ya I know. Evangelical christians are in no way even close to the farthest level the Taliban takes their religion. I laughed when he said that. Under the Taliban, things like playing CHESS is illigal. Art, pictures, and any type of photos are also illigal. any kind of music player is illigal. Things from sewing catalogs to anything made out of human hair, is illigal. Women are beaten for makeing eye contact with a man. Fuck that. Fuck them.
@BubbaGumpShrimp33 how is this war unwinnable? People used to say iraq was unwinnable, that they will never be able to get themselves on their own feet and police themselves. With the focus now on afghanistan, where it always should have been, I see an end in sight. It wont happen tomorrow, and it wont happen next year. But you cant just rebuild a country with a specific timeline in mind, like its some kind of do-it-yourself ad order.
@petch311 This war was absolutely winnable back before around 04. Not anymore I don’t reckon. The longer the US stays there, the fighting intensifies, the civilian death toll rises, more ACM are born.
This war is absolutely winnable. These guys are complete Jackasses that have no thought about what war is really is. What would keep us from winning this war are all these ridiculous ROEs that have been place on the military. I can’t believe this guy has the balls to compare the Eve Angelical to the Taliban. I am in no way religious, but come on man. The Taliban are a brutal group of persons that intentionally murder innocent people and enslave their female all for the sake of the Koran.
Thanks for the video lads, one hell of an I opener, I just realized that we’ve just seen this war before, I reckon it was called the: Soviet War in Afghanistan…
I see a lot of parallels, including if we stay there another year we tie that war in part.
(NB: I’m not saying any of this in a sarcastic way, I am serious.)
@Jesse9063 I didnt say they were freeing anyone. “Nobody is attacking us simply because we are there.” So if we weren’t there they’d still be attacking us? Honestly more soldiers, civilians and money has been wasted fucking around in that country then the taliban could do to america. Tell me, what does occupying afghan accomplish other then to antagonize people into joining the taliban? What are thousands of troops doing there that special forces or drone strikes couldnt accomplish?
GIVE them some dam cows. Why “WE THE PEOPLE” allow this war to continue is beyond me?? “WE THE PEOPLE” Know the truth DESPITE all the ,,, well lets just say it,,,LIES!! WE were told. I don’t want to be the “BAD GUY”,,Tho I fell the longer “WE THE PEPOLE” let this war,,for the sake of war,, go on,, The closer WE are to to becoming just that,,”THE BAD GUY” WE must all work against this flawed logic. Or are WE,,THE PEPOLE “the Terrible guys” after all? “I hope not”// NO2NWO// concord
@Spacemarine420 “they simple live by the laws of that local village or valley or whatever” this quote from you shows YOUR lack of understanding of the province. And when you use terms like “the average villager on the border”. Like was there some kind of poll that took place or are you just guesstimating?
@Spacemarine420 I’m in the military, my meadow of specialty is military intelligence. I’ve been to that province. I know a HELL of a lot more about it than you do. The taliban was made by the Pakistani ISI, and originally consisted of students from Kandahar. The word “Taliban” means “students” in pashto. The pakistanis seized this group to use it as a chance to gain influence in the war torn afghanistan. The taliban took over kabul in 1996.
@Fangtorn the taliban arent freeing anything and they know it, and you know it. In fact, they wish the exact opposite, to enforce shariah law on the people. The only ones who are fighting the US are the ones who a) are in the taliban or al qaida b) feel sorry for with them or c) persons who are paid to do it. These fuckers really pay kids an equivelant of US $5 to throw a grenade at convoys. Ive been there dude. Nobody is attacking us simply because we are there. They arent robots, they know.
@Jesse9063 by saying it was Pakistan not Afghanistan that invented taliban proves you have no understanding of the province… to the average villager on the border there is no Afghanistan or Pakistan, by that I mean the central government and lines on maps means nothing to the people. they simple live by the laws of that local village or valley or whatever.
“You have the watches but we have the time.” Perfect line. US occupation of Afghanistan is once again exposed as ridiculous, impossible, and violent. Excellent point, Andy, about the soldier worship: persons soldiers aren’t courageous, they’re high on guns and killing. Disgusting…

To secure America’s geostrategic supremacy by scheming what Brzezinski described as the “Global Balkans” (central asia).
He hit the nail on the head with his anaology at 14:05.
This Korean guy’s sharp!
@cheddyrod Evangelicalism….my terrible…holy crap
@petch311 What is Eve Angelical?
@fanaticmoron And America had their White House burnt down in that war and oh by the way America lost that war too.

The last war where america’s freedom was at stake? The pledge to that would be the war of 1812.

We stomached the collapse of Vietnam. We’ll end up doing the same in Afghanistan.
@TheNoble7 not to mention CUTE
