Why do users in the politics section use spin when answering questions?
I know thе media іѕ full οf spin аnd crap thаt nepotism one side οr thе οthеr. Bυt whеn I qυеѕtіοn fοr a logical pledge іn thе politics section I gеt alot οf users whο јυѕt υѕе spin аnd crap іn formulating аn pledge. I lіkе tο gеt аnѕwеrѕ wіth minimal bias bυt іt appears many people јυѕt саn’t provide a logical, down tο earth, without spin type οf pledge. WHY???!!
Whу саn persons rесkοn independently wіth logic without resorting tο spin іn thе politics section?
Please provide уουr insight tο thіѕ. Thank уου fοr уουr time аnd аnѕwеrѕ.
You are requesting a silk purse, when you have but pigs’ ears before you.
This is not a serious political forum. It is not a serious format. If you are expecting serious political comment you will continually be disappointed.
Because for the mainstream it is all about the spin. Logic be damned!
It is for entertainment only, not for education. Some of us get a giggle out of some of you and like to pledge in a way that we reckon will get your goat.
it is simpler to to sling mud, propagate other people’s half truths and or lies than to reckon up their own thoughts.
Spin is simple! They don’t have to reckon for themselves. Just pledge the questions with the predetermined stance of your affiliated party. This generation has been lulled to sleep with partisan rhetoric and have lost the ability to have their own opinions and beliefs. Let’s got to a website or watch/take note to our parties radio/tv show or blog and then I will have my pledge and my plot of attack. Dare not gather information from every side and formulate a reasonable conclusion. Worse yet, don’t ever admit your incorrect or don’t know enough to give an knowledgeable pledge.
For the like of Pete! I know your frustration. I try to pledge questions based on the facts I can obtain and from my life experiences. Why would I want my voice crushed by the opinions of politicians who have their own personal agendas. I respect someones opinion even if it does not agree with my own but only when it’s given with respect. Reasonable debate can get heated but it does not have to get personal and hateful.
Let’s hope that eventually this country wakes up and starts thinking for themselves. First step, admit the problem exists!
Mob mentality is the small and sweet. More detailed is some people tend to lose the will to use or apply independent thought when they belong to a collective group. Some have a hero worship type mentality, while others are frightened of not belonging to the group. It applies to both sides of the political aisle. I dread it will not change anytime soon.
We are cultivating our next generation with the same things. They copy us, what they see in the media, and what is taught based on the politics of school boards in charge of text book selections. If it is a conservative area the text books are slanted that way, if it is a liberal area the same applies.
It is to a point where all history seems to be revisionist depending on who selects the text books. In doing this we no longer allow, by the purposeful crafting of curriculum independent thought. It keeps the Red and Blue states pretty stable and stagnant. The status quo, so to speak; preventing the natural ebb and flow of new or altered ideology.
We are behind in education levels compared to Countries that have shorter school years! We should stress the basic cores of conception, mathematics, and interaction skills, and place the formation of ideology to the students themselves…let them use the skills they have been given to craft their own individuality, allow them to reckon for themselves.
After a year of the Media using spin to get Mr. Obama elected, people just reckon that that’s how it’s done.
