Well everybody likes to call names, as we all know.

But historically it’s the aptly wingers who’ve supported fascism. Openly.

You must be conception the same material Glenn Beck reads. He exposes the same kind of question on his blog. There will always been grass root campaigns that get funded and succeed. Tobacco built this country and look what they’ve done to that. Quick food establishments filled a void for our quick paced lives. With the price of fuel and gas we won’t have to worry about shutting them down now will we? We are all broke while the government continually bails our corporate America at our expense. Isn’t that facism?

Don’t believe everything you read, especially if it’s written by people like Ann Coulter. Develop your critical thinking skills by researching what you’ve read. Investigate several sources. If you have at least average intelligence, you ought to be able to learn what fascism is. Delve a small deeper into history.

You will find that Prescott Bush, our current head’s grandfather, openly supported and financed Adolf Hitler – until he was basically ordered by our government to stop.

If you analyze fascism operationalized, you will learn that one of their tactics was to use dread in order to “shape” public opinion and basically, get people to do what they (the fascists) sought after them to do.

This is exactly what the Republican Party, via Bush and Cheney, did after 9/11. They used dread to mobilize the masses [of American people] behind them, and this administration used that dread to manipulate excellent and decent American citizens into freely giveing away their freedom/s, as well as shape their beliefs.

You do not see this kind of behavior to this drastic extent within the Democratic Party. The problem with Democrats is that they’re kind of slow to bump on…as well as bump up.

Decades ago the Republican Party started using their reckon tanks to devise how to best shape public opinion through language. They’ve been very thriving at their own brand of smoke and mirrors. They’ve learned how to manipulate language, they’ve learned how to say one thing and do another and get away with it (no small feat), and they’ve succeeded largely because the Republicans have so chipped away at funding for education that the have quite succeeded in the “dumbing down” of the American electorate.

Liberals do not support huge government. That’s another myth that the Republican conservatives have foisted upon the American public, and apparently citizens are still buying that one – hook, line and sinker.

Really, the Republicans have presided over the leading governments in history. Reagan was a designer of huge government. Bill Clinton greatly pared down the government he inherited from Bush the elder, only to have G.W. Bush grow an even larger one; he now presides over the leading government to date.

Democrats have more of a “waste not, want not” philosophy. I don’t know that liberals necessarily want to ban smoking and quick food, but in terms of trying to save people’s lives….smoking kills people and so does quick food, in terms of clogged arteries, heart attacks and stoutness.

C’mon, some of this is no-brainer material! If someone wants to kill themselves by smoking, fine, but don’t take me with you! As far as quick food goes, I reckon anyone who makes a steady diet of McDonald’s is stupid, but I guess that’s their choice. Unfortunately, many poor people can’t afford to eat anywhere else. I can remember a time before quick food, and I can confirm to the fact that quick food probably should be outlawed! Bring back the neighborhood diners and luncheonettes where the food was home-cooked and not full of preservatives. You used to be able to get a REAL meal, i.e., meat, veggies, bread, drink, and dessert, for less than $5. Then came quick food, and the real deal went out the window. So, I’m with the so-called liberals on persons two issues. But I have to say that I know alot of conservatives that feel the same way, so I don’t necessary agree that it’s just a “liberal” thing.

And as long as you’ve brought up Christian values, let’s explore that a small bit. What are Christian values? Would you say that these are values espoused by God? And who do you take note to the most – God, Dobson, or Robertson? Whose books do you read? Do you read the Bible?

Because as a Christian, I have read much of the Ancient Testament and I’ve read the New Testament many times over. When I look at the reputation of Jesus, and the reputation of the Sadducees and Pharisees, as well as the Jewish religious leaders and the Roman leaders, I see a very familiar pattern. I have read the terms of Jesus many times. Jesus was compassionate, always stood up for the underdog, and really had a dislike for the very rich and for self-professed religous people who made sure everyone heard their prayers. Jesus constantly and continuously disobeyed persons in authority. He habitually rebuked the cruel and the rich. He despised disrespect and arrogance. Time after time He reminded us not to judge others. Throughout the Bible, the main theme is that of hellping persons who have less. Poverty is mentioned everywhere in the Bible. Jesus said we are to care for the poor, the oppressed, the widow, the orphan, and the sick. Does any of this sound familiar?

Now, which people do a better job of this than others? SOME Christians, yes, but not many. Politically, Democrats do a much better job of adhering to Christian principles than Replicans have ever done. Republicans do a fantastic job of judging, though. Of course, that was

A Day in the Life of Joe Republican

Joe gets up at 6 a.m. and fills his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and excellent because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards. With his first swallow of water, he takes his day after day medication. His medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to ensure their safety and that they work as advertised.
All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer’s health check plot because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid health check insurance – now Joe gets it too.
He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Joe’s bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.
In the morning shower, Joe reaches for his shampoo. His pot is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for his aptly to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained.
Joe dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some preservationist wacko liberal fought for the laws to stop industries from polluting our air.
He walks on the government-provided sidewalk to subway station for his government-subsidized ride to work. It saves him considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some fancy-pants liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.
Joe starts his work day. He has a excellent job with brilliant pay, health check benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some bone idle liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Joe’s employer pays these standards because Joe’s employer doesn’t want his employees to call the union.
If Joe is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, agony get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some stupid liberal didn’t reckon he should lose his home because of his fleeting misfortune.
It is noontime and Joe needs to make a bank deposit so he can pay some bills. Joe’s deposit is federally insured by the FSLIC because some godless liberal sought after to care for Joe’s money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the Fantastic Depression.
Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae-underwritten finance and his below-market federal student loan because some elitist liberal resolute that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime. Joe also forgets that his in addition to his federally subsidized student loans, he attended a state funded university.
Joe is home from work. He plans to visit his limb of the clergy this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the guide. His car is among the safest in the world because some America-hating liberal fought for car safety standards to go along with the tax-payer funded roads.
He arrives at his boyhood home. His was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers’ Home Administration because bankers didn’t want to make rural loans.
The house didn’t have electricity until some huge-government liberal stuck his nose where it didn’t belong and demanded rural electrification.
He is pleased to see his limb of the clergy, who is now retired. His limb of the clergy lives on Social Security and a union pension because some wine-drinking, cheese-eating liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn’t have to
Joe gets back in his car for the ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host keeps saying that liberals are terrible and conservatives are excellent. He doesn’t mention that the beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Joe enjoys throughout his day. Joe agrees: “We don’t need persons huge-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I’m a self-made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have.”
