When is the government going to do some major welfare reform?
I rесkοn thеrе аrе tοο many people relying οn government hеlр thаt abuse іt аnd stay οn іt longer thаn looked-fοr tο gеt back οn thеіr feet. I never, еνеr see anything іn thе news аbουt welfare reform. Whу won’t thе government dο anything аbουt іt?
They are, they are making it more simple to get. The Democrats goal is to make everybody dependent on the government.
Anyone who says it is just democrats who don’t want welfare reform is full of sh*t.
I reckon both democrats and republicans will keep welfare the way it is for the most part. Neither are interested in losing a potential voter. Besides, congress doesn’t worry about social security as they have a pension plot, so they don’t care what happens to the publics pension plot.
it should be ovious that ” welfare reform” is nothing more than empty campaign rhetoric.
In my area. the number one thing which makes most people furious is the fact that anyone who comes into the area from out of state can just go and sign aptly up for welfare. There used to be a residency rule, you had to reside in the state for a year. The US supreme court ruled it unconstitiutional.
With acquaintances like we have in washington, who needs enemies???

Every time someone suggests any type of workable welfare reform it is shot down.
I was a fan of the welfare to work program, but I guess the “work” part of that plot frightened everybody off.
I reckon the financial impression of welfare is so low on the totem pole compared to higher dollar impacts, that the head in the 2012 term, be it Obama or someone else, will be more liable to address it.
When hyper-inflation hits, which all the signs point to, the dollar amounts paid out in welfare stay at the pay points they are at today. Persons amounts will aggregately be an even smaller amount of each tax payer’s purse and beneficiaries will only receive somewhere in neighborhood of $5,000 per year per family in today’s dollars, so the problem will really work itself out naturally.
