Local government candidates face Monday filing deadline
With Monday being the last day to file, only one race has drawn more than one candidate in Sherman and Denison local government elections. Across the state, city council and school board elections will pick local leadership at the polls May 8 and in early voting leading up to that date.

I’ve noticed that the teenage population gets “turned off” (at least most of them do) by politics. What are some creative ways to get involved in this upcoming election ‘08?
