I feel that the younger workers and small business owners of this country should be allowed to privately invest a portion of their Social Security withholdings. Those that try to convince you that Social Security will go bankrupt are just trying to mislead you so they can keep control of the money. Social Security taxes have always melted away into the general fund and have never been kept seperate. The rest is just book-keeping smoke and mirrors.
