He is the man who knows what it's like to work for an hourly wage.

He is the man who knows what it's like to have the future dependent on someone else's business skills.

He is the man who knows what it feels like to have a company more than 100 years old fold up under his feet.

He is the man who knows what it feels like to stand in line at the unemployment office.

He is the man who served his country and felt the frustration when we lost a long and terrible war because no one had the courage to win.

He is the veteran paratrooper who volunteered his services to the National Guard when this threat of terror reared it's ugly head.

He is the man who wonders how many times his son will return from this latest "limited" war.

He is the man who sees the value of his money constantly shrinking and wonders from where those impossibly low inflation figures originate.

He is the man who sees those who cause this inflation fatten their bank accounts with cost of living adjustments while the rest of us make do with a little less or look for a second job.

He is the man who wonders why some politicians claim that the nation can't afford to do away with the tax on marriage and traditional families while at the same time they reward and support those who are unable to support themselves yet still create children for the taxpayer to support.

He is the man who sees plans for a beautiful new transit system for the Raleigh-Durham area and wonders how the airport could be excluded.

He is the man who wonders why new roads are hopelessly out of date before they are completed.

He is the man who wonders how this country can be secure when plane loads and ship loads of marijuana, cocaine, and heroin arrive in this country daily, feeding iresistable habits.

He is the man who wonders why these things must be imported, enriching warlords and other nations with billions of our dollars when they can be produced and taxed so cheaply right at home.

He is the man who wants to know how and why the Constitution of the United States can be so conveniently perverted when a perceived need arises.

He is the man who wonders why our President can praise the research and progress in fertility treatment and then prohibit the use of left over embryos for stem cell research. Thus consigning vital progress in treatments of many disorders to the garbage can.
